Many Waters, One Gathering Place

Loading Events

Rev. Lee Anne Washington

Human beings have always gathered where water flows—at wells, rivers, fountains, and shorelines—to drink, trade stories, meet neighbors, and build community. Each year at Water Communion, we bring water from the many communities in which we live and pour it into one common bowl, reminding us that although we come from different places and different lives, here our paths meet. This year, we will explore what it might mean for UUCNH to become an even more vibrant gathering place: somewhere beyond home and work where people come not only for worship, but for friendship, conversation, laughter, learning, service, and belonging.
