Flower Communion- Beautiful Medicine
June 8 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
by Rev. Lee Anne Washington
We will celebrate Flower Communion on Sunday by exploring the many medicinal qualities of various flowers. Some remedies are best made with new sprouts and others are best made with mature plants. Similarly, in our multi-generational beloved community, we learn from the innocence of children and the wisdom of the aged.
We will provide you with some simple flower-based medicinal recipes and suggest some special teas.
REMEMBER to bring a flower from your yard, the wayside, or your favorite merchant to share during communion. A few flowers will be available at church if you forget!
