Celebration Garden Committee (formerly Memorial Garden Committee)

The Memorial Garden Committee is charged with coordinating outdoor memorials for the Memorial Garden for the Unitarian Universalist Church of the North Hills (UUCNH), and overseeing the overall plan for its development and maintenance.

Authority

The Memorial Garden Committee is a non-budgeted committee and is authorized to manage the Memorial Garden in cooperation with the families who choose to utilize it. The committee will work with Building & Grounds and the Finance Committees as needed.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain a Master List of activities, duties, timelines, tasks, formats, etc., for which the Memorial Garden Committee is specifically responsible.
2. Maintain a relationship with and provide an update as needed to the committee’s Board Liaison.
3. Submit a report on the committee’s activities for inclusion in the UUCNH annual report to the congregation.
