As a church, we nourish our spirits, celebrate life, and cherish our connectedness in many ways. We come together for many different kinds of activities. We seek to join together in fellowship while upholding our values and having fun all at the same time. We play together, we laugh together, and we live life together.
If you would like any information on any of our groups, please contact our church office at email@example.com or contact Bernita Clover from our Connections Team (jnc312@mail12world)
Barnraisers Time Bank – Rachael Smart
Time banking is a simple, but powerful, concept involving the exchange of services without
the exchange of money. This social change movement is happening in 22 countries and six continents, and it’s happening at UUCNH, too! The Barn Raisers Time Bank is a community of people, interconnected through our desire to share our abilities, talents, and experiences with one another. Through both giving and receiving, we learn to appreciate the value of each member’s contributions and to believe in the value of our own contributions. When you provide a service to another member you earn one time dollar for each hour spent providing the service. When you receive a service from another member you spend one time dollar for each hour that member spends providing the service to you. We have a potluck each month where we discuss recent exchanges and new needs and where new members can learn about what we do. For more information visit our facebook page “Barn Raisers Time Bank” or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.

Camping Trip-Abby Vaughn and Rachael Smart
Hiking and campfires and s’mores, oh my! Whether you can come for one night or several, please join us for outdoor fun and fellowship.
Soprano, alto, tenor, or bass? Our choir needs you! Performances by the church choir are always delightful thanks to our talented, long-standing choir director, Mary Doubleday. Mary says that only a small percentage of people are truly tone-deaf, so what are you waiting for? The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings, with final rehearsals and performances on Sunday mornings.
The Craft Group welcomes other crafters who want to learn needlework, to perfect a specific craft, or to simply join us for socializing. This group focuses on creating beautiful, unique items to sell at the various Craft Group Sale Days held throughout the year at church. Profits from these sales are used to fund necessary projects that arise suddenly and are not included in the church annual budget. The Craft Group meets every Thursday morning; come when you can!
Have rotary cutters and fabric, will travel! The Quilting Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month to work on quilting projects and to share techniques with each other. All levels of experience are welcome. Bring a brown bag lunch.
