Work Party to Stomp Out Invasive Plants

To celebrate Earth Day, join the church Youth Group under the direction of one of our master gardeners to learn how to identify barberry and wild rose. “Invasive plants grow rapidly, spread aggressively, and displace our native plants. They can cause a decline in species diversity, inhibit regeneration success, slow natural succession, and degrade wildlife habitats, directly impacting food webs” Mid-Atlantic Renewable Energy Assoc.
