4th Sunday Forum

The purpose of the 4^th Sunday Forum is to provide a forum for group discussion of a wide latitude of topics deemed important to members of the group, and to provide the opportunity for those involved to hear, understand, and appreciate one another’s thoughts.  

Agenda for Sunday, March 26:  Russia – but not just Russia!  After more than a year of brutality, the violence continues. It is tempting – but perhaps too easy – to credit all of the bloodshed to a specific demonic leader. After all, that part of the world has a long history of autocratic governments. Is there such a thing as a Slavic national temperament? Did the Western nations’ handling of the fall of the USSR play into this situation? What about the significant rise of autocratic, nationalistic sentiment in our own society? And how do we square these realities with our 1^st, 2^nd and 6^th Principles? Join us as we ponder how to think and feel about the turmoil in our world.
