4th Sunday Forum

The purpose of the 4^th Sunday Forum is to provide a forum for group discussion of a wide latitude of topics deemed important to members of the group, and to provide the opportunity for those involved to hear, understand, and appreciate one another’s thoughts.  

Agenda for Sunday, February 26: A Matter of Principle!  In recent years, there has been considerable discussion regarding the “7 Principles”, which, along with the “6 Sources” and a Mission Statement, comprise Article II of the By-laws.  Suggested updates had included adding an 8^th Principal and expanding the scope of the 1^st.  However, an alternative is now proposed– to replace the Principles and Sources entirely with a new Article II. In September and again in November, “stakeholder groups” have already participated in Zoom meetings and submitted feedback.  The most up-to-date report (see pages 17-24)   will be up for vote at the 2023 General Assembly.  Join us on February 26 to discuss how UU’s wish to describe themselves to the general public, and, more specifically, these proposed changes.
